"Graceful, smart, soulful and sexy, Indigo’s novel would surely top Oprah’s Book Club list...if her list included steamy erotica."
   -- Babeland

"She's funny, honest, deep and writes wonderful characters. To me, that is the key to a story working...any story really, erotic or not."
--Marcy Sheiner, former editor of Herotica and Best Women's Erotica

"BDSM writing at its best: hot and kinky but with such strong interesting characters and storylines as to transcend the genre into something far more powerful and rich. Susannah Indigo’s sexy stories are emotional rides that affect much more than the libido, they inflame the senses and tug on your heartstrings."
-- Greg Wharton, editor of suspect thoughts

"Indigo serves up a finale reminiscent of Sheherazade, if she authored The Story of O...at turns edgy and tender."
   -- ERWA.

"There are also a healthy number of comical sex stories, including "The Letters" by Eric Albert, "Three Obscene Telephone Calls" by Marian Phillips and, most notably, "The Year of Fucking Badly" by Susannah Indigo, in which a woman sets out to understand what the phrase "bad sex" means."
--Kirkus Reviews on Best of the Best American Erotica 2008
